What are the opening days?
until 19 January 2025. Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights is open from 5.30 p.m. every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Where does the experience take place?
At the Castle of la Hulpe domain.
How long is the visit?
The walk is about 2.5 kilometers long.
How long is the walk?
It takes between one hour & one and a half hours. You can complete the Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights walk at your own pace.
Is this activity suited for young children?
It is a real forest walk of 2,5 km. The course is not scary but magical and fairytale-like.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a lead throughout the entire walk. Don’t forget to bring poop bags to clean up after them. Please note that dogs are not allowed inside the castle. You should bear this in mind if you want to try the “Dinner at the Castle” experience. Â
What to wear?
The walk takes place on practicable paths. However, the park can be muddy in places. We advise you to wear hiking shoes or rubber boots as well as to put on warm and waterproof clothes.
What time should I show up?
If you opt for an open ticket, you can come on the date and at the time of your choice. If you opt for a dated ticket, you should arrive at the Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights entrance during the time slot specified on your ticket. You can arrive in the 30 minutes after the time specified on your ticket. For example, if your ticket specifies 7 p.m., you can arrive between 7 and 7.30 p.m. The roads near the Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights site can be busy. If you are arriving by car, please account for this in your travel time.
What is a FLEX ticket?
With the FLEX ticket cost, you can change the date and time of your ticket up to 3 times, until 24 hours before the date of your visit. If you also purchase a P1 parking ticket, you must make any changes at the same time as your FLEX tickets.
What is an open ticket?
An open ticket allows you to visit Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights during opening hours on any date and any time.
Are there toilets available?
Yes, the toilets are only at the beginning and at the end of the route (€ 0,5).
Is there food and drinks on site?
Yes, it is possible to purchase refreshments on-site. There are two options: At the start and end of the walk, you will have the opportunity to purchase sweet and savoury snacks. These are not included in the price of the ticket. You can also opt for a ticket which combines entry to Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights with a 3- or 5-course meal, as part of the unique “Dinner at the Castle” culinary experience. Make sure you book in advance using this link.
Are the dinners at the castle still planned?
Yes, but only for people who have already reserved their table. It is no longer possible to book a dinner.
Mobility
Is there a car park? Do I need to pay for it?
Yes, there are car parks P1 parking: you can purchase a parking slot via the online ticketing service You can then take the shuttle bus from the La Hulpe station parking area (which is not free), and is included with the purchase of your entry ticket (dated, flex, undated, 'dinner at the castle' package) Other nearby parking lots - limited spaces (free)
How does the shuttle bus work?
The cost of the shuttle service to and from the site is included in your entry ticket*. This shuttle service will make the following stops: Gare de la Hulpe (not free) Place Camille Lemonnier (Schievelavabo) Maison communale (town hall) Lanterna Magica RTL Winter Lights entrance. Here's the timetable for the last shuttle buses: Friday 10.30pm, Saturday 11pm, Sunday and school holidays 10pm. *Dated, flex, undated, 'dinner at the castle' package
How to get to Lanterna Magica RTL by public transport?
By train, arriving at Gare de la Hulpe + return shuttle service included in the price of your entry ticket. By bus, TEC line 366. Get off at La Hulpe Etangs Solvay stop.
Can I come by bike?
You can store your bicycle at the entrance. However, for safety reasons, the route cannot be covered by bicycle.
Accessibility
Is the event accessible for prams and push chairs?
Bring a pushchair with big wheels as there are gravel paths on the route. It is therefore accessible for prams, but keep in mind that it is effectively a real forest walk.
Is the event accessible for people with reduced mobility?
It is possible to do the walk with a wheelchair. However, it is still a walk in the forest with gravel paths. So, you will need a wheelchair with good wheels and a good companion. With your disabled ticket, you have access to the VIP parking on presentation of this ticket and the Disabled card. As the car park is 200m from the entrance, we invite you to first drop off your passengers at Kiss&Ride n°1 (please follow the signs on site).

Where can I buy my tickets?
Using the online ticket office, or on site depending on availability.
What can I do if I lose or forget my ticket?
The shuttle service is included in the price of your entry ticket*. We have organised a shuttle service that stops at various locations: Gare de la Hulpe / Place Camille Lemonnier / Maison communale (town hall) / Lanterna Magica RTL entrance. *dated tickets, flex tickets, open tickets, Dîner au château packages
What should I do if I have lost or forgotten my ticket?
You can find your ticket using this link. Don’t forget to log in using the same account that you used when purchasing your tickets. Once you have logged in using your email address and order number, you can: Download your tickets again Change your email address Contact the See Tickets customer service team using the contact form
Do I have to print my ticket or can I show it on my smartphone?
Tickets will be scanned at the entrance on your smartphone or on paper.
Who can I contact if there is a problem with my ticket?
Log in using this link, then contact the See Tickets customer service team using the contact form.
What happens to my ticket in case of bad weather?
We will only allow to postpone your visit if the park will be closed due to a storm. We will not reschedule tickets in case of rain.
Can I get my ticket refunded?
Once your reservation has been made, it is not possible to get a refund.
Is my ticket still valid if I arrive later than the reserved time?
If you do not arrive during the time slot mentioned on your ticket, we cannot guarantee you entry. However, we will try to get you in later, if possible.
Can I make a change in my reservation (time, date, number)?
Once you have made your booking, you cannot make changes to your ticket. However, you can book: An open ticket allowing you to visit on any day. A FLEXI pass allowing you to change the date of your visit a maximum of 3 times and up to 24 hours before the visit date.
Can I change a child’s/senior ticket for a dated ticket or vice versa?
Once you have made your booking, you cannot make changes to your ticket.

Do children under 4 years old need a ticket?
No, they don't need a ticket. Tickets are on sale for ages 4 and older (inclusive).
Do you have gift vouchers?
You can buy an open ticket that allows the person receiving the gift to come on any date and at any time.Â

RATE
What are the rates?
Prices vary depending on the number of visitors, and therefore the date and time of your visit. You can view prices on the ticket office website. The ticket options are: STANDARD (age 13 to 64 inclusive) CHILD (age 4 to 12 inclusive) / SENIOR (65 +) / DISABLED GNOME (aged 3 and under) FLEX TICKET OPEN TICKET PACKAGE “DINER AT THE CASTLE”
From what age is the ticket paid?
Entrance is free for children up to and including 3 years old.
Is there a special rate for groups?
For groups of 20 to 100 people, the price is the same as for children. You can book online. For groups of 100 or more. You can write to us at sales@mbpresents.be for more information.
Can I buy a ticket on site?
Yes, it will be possible to buy tickets on site if the event is not full. We invite you to keep yourself informed via the online ticket office.
GROUPS
How can I reserve for a group of 20 to 100 people?
You can immediately reserve your discounttickets for groups through the online ticket shop.
Can I reserve for a group of more than 100 people?
For groups of more than 100 people, you can send a request to sales@mbpresents.be.
What is the group rate?
The rate for each group member is the same as the rate for children/PMR/seniors.
Is it necessary to arrive earlier as a group?
Simply arrive at Lanterna Magica at the designated time as stated on your ticket. Be aware of possible traffic jams.
Is there a parking area for a coach?
No, there are no parking spaces for coaches. Coaches can drop off passengers at the entrance to Lanterna Magica, but are not allowed to park there. Please do let us know in advance at sales@mbpresents.be when you will be dropped off at the entrance with a group by coach
Is there any possibility to change the number of participants in my group after booking?
Yes, you can make a new reservation via the ticket sales link. If it is more than 100 people, you should make the request via sales@mbpresents.be. The tickets are non-refundable.
How can I pay for a group reservation?
For groups of 20 to 100 people, payments can be made online via Bancontact, Payconiq, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, or iDeal.
Can I receive an invoice?
Yes, you can request an invoice through SeeTickets by mentioning your reservation number and invoice details. You will receive the invoice once the payment is completed.
How can I offer drinks and/or food to my group?

Can I reserve the "dinner arrangement at the castle" for a group?

Skating ring
When is skating ring available?
The skating ring is open from 20 December 2024, to 5 January 2025 (every day, except on 24 & 31 December when it will be closed), and from 10 January to 26 January 2025 (every weekend).
What are the opening hours for skating?
Opening hours: Friday: from 5 PM to 10 PM Saturday, Sunday, and school vacations: from 3.30 PM to 10 PM
Can I rent skates on-site?
Yes, skates are available for rent in sizes ranging from 32 to 46. Additional support equipment such as skate aids, chairs, and glide figures are also available to help young children learn to skate.
Is skating suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Skating is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced skaters. Skate aids, chairs, and glide figures are also available to assist children in learning to skate.
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
It is recommended to book in advance, especially during busy times like school holidays.
Do I need a Lanterna Magica ticket to access the skating area?
No, the skating area is accessible without a Lanterna Magica ticket. You can visit the area independently of the trail.
Is the skating area accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, there are glide seats available on request for people with reduced mobility.Â
Is the skating area covered?
Yes, the skating area is fully covered to protect you from the weather.
What is the entry fee for skating?
The entry fee is €8 for both adults and children, which includes skate rental.Â
Is it a synthetic skating ring or one with ice?
It's a synthetic skating ring: Eco-friendly and revolutionary, it gives you the sensation of skating on "real" ice while respecting the environment.
